A town filled with history, Diablo is an unincorporated area in Contra Costa County. With its multi-million dollar homes etched in exquisite architecture and gorgeous landscapes, Forbes magazine has named Diablo the fourth most expensive zip code in the United States. Situated at the base of Mt. Diablo, it offers hiking, biking, rock climbing, cave exploring, camping, and many other outdoor experiences. A mostly residential community, nearby Danville offers Diablo residents a full array of shopping and dining experiences. Its historic Diablo Country Club was built in 1916 as a summer retreat. In the 1940's it was renovated with a large ballroom to accommodate big band dancing, and today includes over 400 homes, a golf course and 115 acres of beautifully landscaped open space. A small but scenic community, Diablo offers luxury in a country setting.
