The town of Kentfield is an unincorporated area that borders Larkspur and Ross in Marin County. It is home to the main campus of the College of Marin, whose theater department has the highest transfer rate to Julliard of any junior college in the state. A wealthy conservationist donated nearby Muir Woods National Park, giving Kentfield a wooded, country feel, making it a highly desirable real estate location.
