Located in East Contra Costa County, Oakley is a city nestled against the beautiful California Delta. Its rolling hills are speckled with orchards and vineyards, and the Delta De Anza Trail provides ample opportunity for hiking and biking. Its Yacht Harbor and Big Belt Marina create a fishing and boating paradise, as well. In order to preserve its heritage, the city launched a program to plant a thousand oak trees. This undertaking was completed on Earth Day 2010, helping to bring the community back to its roots. The famous Brownstone Gardens are located just outside of Oakley, where floral and tree-lined landscapes make for a beautiful backdrop for weddings and other outdoor celebrations. Taking a moment to admire Oakley's majestic landscape and quiet atmosphere will make living here seem like the only option.
